Robert "Bob" Ross, Sr., age 73, of Elrod, died Feb. 3, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Thornhill and Trey Reece officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. and Gladys Ross, and a son, Rodney G. Ross.
Survivors include his wife, Roxanna Ross; daughters, Pamela Nix (Arlon), Candy Haight (Mike), and Sherri Ross; sons, Robert E. Ross, Jr. (Lori), Charlie Ross, Chad Ross (Trina), Lee A. Ross, Justin Jackson (Danielle), and Brandon Jackson (Jennifer); sisters, Phyllis Ross and Paulette Clark (Don); brothers, Ralph Ross (Louise) and Ronnie Ross (Sheryl); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons and nephews.
