COTTONDALE – Rodney O. ""Lil Mac"" McDaniel, age 72, of Cottondale, Ala., died January 2, 2018, at DCH Regional Medical Center ICU. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Richards officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy McDaniel; daughters, Jennifer Hutchins (Dexter), Julie Williams (Jerome) and Lynn Keeton; and grandchildren, Zena McDaniel, Hunter Lackey, Kayla Williams, Cole Williams, Destiny Keeton, Jarred Hutchins and Joshua Hutchins.
Rodney was the greatest man we ever knew, loved working on cars, loved NASCAR, loved his family and friends and four legged babies.
Pallbearers will be Duke Barner, Tim Barner, Elton Baugh, Cole Williams, John Mills and Duke Barner, Jr.
