He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Margaret Ann Rhodes; his parents Derrel Rhodes and Louise Rhodes; his brother John Rhodes, and his sister, Ann Rhodes Curry.
He is survived by his children, Rohn Rhodes (Glynis), Rhonda Starr (Bill), Veronica Meyer, and Cameron Rhodes (Jaime).
He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren:
Callie Rhodes Outlaw (Tyler), Hannah Rhodes Glasscock (Luke), Joshua Rhodes (Morgan), Anna Starr Williams (Jake), LeeAnn Starr Sweatt (Shane), Matthew Meyer, Laura Rhodes, Katelyn Rhodes, Kendal Rhodes, Davis Rhodes, John Luke Glasscock, Annie Bea Glasscock, and Margaret Outlaw.
He also leaves behind one sister, Sue Rhodes Curry.
A Memorial service will be held Friday, January, 9 at 4pm at Heritage Chapel, 5200 Old Birmingham Highway, Tuscaloosa, AL 354
