Roverta H. Brownlee, age 83, of Eutaw, died Jan. 9, 2013, at Greene County Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Bennie Hayes, Jack Clary, and Carl Sudduth officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Grace Hamilton, and her husband, Everett Brownlee.
Survivors include her daughter, Gail B. Garnand of Eutaw; her son, Everett L. Brownlee Jr. (Carolyn) of Eutaw; her sister, Sara H. Sudduth of Tuscaloosa; her brother, Artis Hamilton (Chris) of Gastonia, N.C.; her grandchildren, Farrah Rollings (Wes) of Madison, Tiffany Cross (John) of Northport, and Jennifer Rigby of Eutaw; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harold Clayton, Ray Drummond, Morgan Sellers, Leon Pearce, Percy Lee, Billy Ray Lee, and Richard Brownlee.
Honorary pallbearers are friends and family of the Beulah community, Pam Kennard and Gendora Anderson of Southern Care, and the staff of Greene County Nursing Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Beulah Baptist Cemetery Fund or the charity of one's choice .
