Roy Alfred LaGrone Sr.

Roy was born on July 27, 1945 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Irby and Ludie LaGrone. As a child, he started watching General Hospital with his Mom, and he continued to be a faithful viewer for many years. As an adult, Mr. LaGrone received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama. He loved going to Gulf Shores, eating seafood and visiting with friends. Roy was a loving father of four children: Al, Roger, Becky and Andy. He also had a cat, named "Jax," that he loved immensely. Everyone loved Roy's laugh, though it was often driven by the presence of sarcasm.

Mr. Lagrone is survived by his partner Rick, his four children: Al, Roger, Becky and Andy, and a host of grandchildren.

Visitation for Roy will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memory Chapel, with a Graveside Funeral Services immediately following at 11AM from Memory Hill Gardens, Garden of the Last Supper. Arrangements are under the direction of Memory Chapel, a Dignity Memorial provider.
