Roy "Al" Alfred LaGrone Jr. passed on September 1, 2026, at the age of 58, and was a resident of Northport, Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2026 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rob Livingston officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Al was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys LaGrone; father, Roy LaGrone, Sr.; and son, Ryan LaGrone.
He is survived by his daughter, Caitlin Gragg (Jacob); son, Jayse LaGrone; sister, Becky LaGrone; brothers, Roger LaGrone (Donna) and Andy LaGrone (Mary); grandson, Bennett Gragg; and special friend, Carol LaGrone.
Honorary pallbearers are the brothers of IBEW Local 136.
