Ruby Shattuck, age 91, of Northport, Ala., died June 1, 2017, at home. Services were held Saturday, June 3, 2017 with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Burial followed at a later date in Chattanooga National Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Annie Elliott; husband, Victor Shattuck; sister, Guinevieve Elliott; and brothers, Wendell Elliott and James Taylor Elliott. Survivors include Kevin Zachery Kilgore, Clinton Shattuck, Vicki Degler, Sam Elliott, Ally Kilgore, Zoey Kilgore, Anna Thornton and Joseph Shattuck.Ruby Shattuck lived a life dedicated to her husband and family. She was a God fearing, loving soul whose kindness knew no boundaries. She lived 91 years, 35 of them were with her sister, Guinevieve Elliott and grandson, Zack Kilgore, whom they raised together in the Northwood Lake community of Northport, Ala.
