Rubye Cook

Rubye Tingle Cook, age 94, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at DCH Regional Medical Center. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Rubye is proceeded in death by her mother, Mary Johnson Tingle; father, William Tingle; husband, Hebron Cook; sister, Betty Burroughs; brother, William "Billy" Tingle.

She is survived by her sons, William Cook (Mary); Jerry Cook; daughter, Rhonda Russell (Oscar); granddaughters, Dana Mitchell (Jimmy); Deniese Tidmore (Chris); Mandy McDaniel (Morris); Allison Martin (Jason); great grandchildren, Madison Geer (Taylor); Reese Tidmore; Hannah and Audrey Mitchell; Ryken and Adyson Wetzel; great great grandson, Colton Geer; sisters, Myrtis Burroughs; Anne Bonner; Dorothy Beckham; Joyce Wood; brother, Dale Tingle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Mitchell, Chris Tidmore, Morris McDaniel, Jason Martin, Taylor Geer, Ryken Wetzel, Reese Tidmore.

Honorary Pallbearers are nurses and staff of Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at DCH and Dr. Dirk Berry.
