I met Mrs. Strong via a call to Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.  She would always say " Hello Johnna, this is Mrs. Ruth Strong; STRONG, not weak"...her calls always brightened my day.  She encouraged me and whenever I spoke with her, I could sense the wonderful presence of God.  She is missed and is even now, dearly loved.

I met Mrs. Strong while I was working at the cable company. She was in the office one day and found out my young son was having seizures. At that point we became great friends. She gave me information, guidance, scripture, support, and love during a time in my life when I felt like no one understood my sons illness. Mrs. Strong understood because her daughter had some of the same issues. Sadly we both lost our children but some years after Steven and Lee Ann's passing Mrs. Strong told me "Who would have ever thought that a terrible illness that took our children would have brought such a sweet friend into my life. I love you Ms. Cindy"
I will forever cherish out friendship and miss your kindness and love.

Fran, my prayers and thoughts go with you during this difficult time.  I pray good travels for the family.  I will miss this dear sweet lady so much.  We have talked, searched scriptures, and even shared crossword puzzles.  I miss the little things.  She was a very giving person and always remembering me with "special" gifts she purchased just for me. You certainly could not "out give" her.  Blessings on you all.

To the family, I am sorry to hear the news about your loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time. Isaiah 61:1,2*
