TUSCALOOSA | Sara Elois Pierce Herren, age 61, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died November 4, 2015. A Celebration of Life service will be 6 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2015, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Tony Boyd officiating and Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Calvin “Jack” Pierce.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Jason Herren (Megan) of Hale County, Ala., Anthony Shane Herren of Fishers, Ind., James Daniel Herren (Kim) of Cottondale, Ala. and Stephen Duane Herren (Christy) of Duncanville, Ala.; two sisters; three brothers; mother, Clara Arzell Williamson; fifteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Cancer Treatment Centers of America Southeastern Assistance in Healthcare, 600 Celebrate Life Parkway, Newman, GA 30265.
