TUSCALOOSA - Sarah Turner Rawlins, age 80, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died September 27, 2018, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Hartsoe officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ramie Corley Boyd; her father, Fred Turner; son, Larry Wayne Sullivan; and sisters, Dorothy Eileen Abston, Maggie Lee Sellers and Clarice Horton.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Cornelius Rawlins; daughter, Cynthia Rawlins Lietch (Jason), both of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; granddaughter, Brittany Caitlin Golden of Orlando, Fla.; and her grand dogs, George and Saint.
Pallbearers will be Robert Petty, Rodney Petty, Randy Petty, Ronnie Petty, Ronnie Watson, Mark Mayall, Stephen Mayall and James Edgar, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers are physicians and staff of Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center and Hospice of West Alabama.
