Searcy P. Baker, age 87, of Gallion, died July 8, 2015, at home. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, A Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his father, Percy C. Baker; mother, Evie D. Baker; George Baker; Ed Baker; Ella Mae Holcomb; Shelby Kilgore; Marie Lyles; Evie Lee Hutchins; and Viola Gibbs.He is survived by his wife, Jackie D. Baker; sons, Danny P. Baker and Bruce A. Baker Sr.; and grandchildren, April M. Baker, Alan Baker, and Tyler Baker.He served in military in Germany during the Korean War and was a volunteer firefighter. He belonged to Mason Masonic Lodge St. Alban #22. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, and was a member of Linden Baptist Church.Pallbearers will be Alan Baker, Tyler Baker, George Baker, Mark Kilgore, Billy Kirkham, and John Rowser.
