Shelby Sue Channell passed on September 2, 2026, at the age of 86. Shelby was a resident of Duncanville, Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Piney Woods Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.
Ms. Channell was preceded in death by her parents, Edward "Ted" and Argin Swindle; husband, Tommy Channell; son, Timmy Dunn; and her brothers, Clyde, Chester, "Junior," and Tony.
She is survived by her sons, RIckey Dunn (Cindy) and J.C. Dunn (Rhonda); grandchildren, Derek Dunn, Tiffany Dunn, Kacey Davis (Trent), Ginger Rutherford (Matthew), David Dunn (Lindsey), Holly Bostick (Trey), and Jennifer Edwards (Heath); thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Belinda Swindle; brother, Frankie Swindle; and numerous beloved extended family.
