Shie Ann Twinn Garner, 45, left us too soon. She passed away on March 7, 2022, at her residence in Cottondale. A visitation will be held Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 1PM-3PM at Memory Chapel. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3pm with Rev. Gary Youngblood officiating. Burial will be at Memory Hill Gardens, under the direction of Memory Chapel, a Dignity Memorial provider.
Shie Ann was one of the most caring and helpful people you would ever meet. She graduated in 2003, becoming a Registered Nurse, she used that degree to help others, in every way possible. Even after surviving a heart attack in 2009, she still found ways to reach people and share her testimony. Shie Ann loved to play guitar and sing (even when it hurt our ears). At any given moment she could be found watching a Harry Potter movie on TV. She loved to laugh, have fun and enjoy life. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Ben & Edith Chambers of Greenbrier, Arkansas and Louis & Faye Twinn of Houston, Missouri.
Shie Ann is survived by her husband Terry Jason Garner of Cottondale; daughters Angel LeeAnn Morgan (Matthew) of Harvest, AL, Caylee Phalen Garner of Cottondale, AL; son Benjamin Daniel (Caylea Scales) Garner of Cottondale; grandchild Blakely Garner; parents Mary and Louis Twinn and sisters Amber Twinn (Stuart) Hartley and Lindsay (Paul) Ford both of Tuscaloosa.
Serving as Active Pallbearers will be: Heath Parten, Wesley Battles, Terry Garner, Ben Garner, Jamie Garner and Hunter Garner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alabama Heart and Vascular Medicine and Kenny & Virginia Sanford.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
