Dewayne was a tugboat captain for Ingram Barge Line on the Mississippi River. He also loved to travel and spending time with his grandchildren.
Dewayne is preceded in death by his parents, Stephan and Carol McBride, and sister, Pamela McBride.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Robin McBride; sons, Shane McBride (Marsha), Jason McBride, Stephan McBride (Nicole); sisters, Cindy Mullenix (Dale) and Melinda McBride (Tony); grandchildren, Cameron McBride (Karlee), Caden McBride, Carson McBride, Noah McBride, Callie McBride, Joel McBride, and Josie McBride.
All of the grandchildren will be serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405, US, on October 31, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will take place at Memory Hill Gardens on October 31, 2026.
