

Sue Moss Flowers, age 90, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, died October 15, 2025, peacefully at home. Services will be at 11 a.m. October 21, 2025, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor KJ Pugh officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude A. Flowers Jr., her mother, Flossie P. Moss, and father, Neil Moss, her brother, Billy Gerald Moss, her sisters, Rebecca Moss Powell, Joy Moss Shoultz, brothers-in-law, Sammy Powell, and Billy Shoultz, sisters-in-law, Margie Moss and Jeanene Flowers, mother-in-law, Lula C. Flowers, her nephew, Dr. C. Neil Moss.
She is survived by her stepson, Garry S. Flowers, stepdaughter, Denise F. Sigler, grandchildren, Brian, Lorrie and Benjamin Flowers (Merrill) the mother of her grandchildren, Terri Flowers Cox, her nieces, Cindy Shoultz (Bruce) Dryden, Vicki Moss, Brenda Moss (Ricky) Hitt, Bridgette Powell, and Keith Powell, her great-nephews, Jarrod (Brittany) Milligan, Blake Milligan, Jordan Powell, and Brad Jones, her great nieces, Brook Powell (Brad) Lang, Kayla Sue Jones, and Houston Ramsey, great-great nephews, Archie Layne Milligan, Shelton Milligan, Brayden Todd, and great-great nieces, Gabby Lang, and Paisley Mae Milligan.
She was a member of Alberta Baptist Church for 57 years, where she was Member of the Year in 2001. She was a Certified Professional Secretary (CPS), and worked as a legal secretary at Jones, McEachin, Ormond & Fulton for 15 years and as Executive Secretary for Mr. Jack W. Warner and Mr. Jon Warner at Gulf States Paper Corporation for 25 years. She was the President of the National Secretaries Association and the Tuscaloosa Legal Secretaries Association. She was N.S.A.'s Secretary of the Year in 1966.
Honorary pallbearers are Members of Ruth Bible Class Alberta Baptist Church, Gulf States Paper Corporation retirees, GSPC Lunch Bench, Dr. George Miller, and Dr. John Miller, Jon Warner, JoAnn Clark, Myrtle Kizziah, Sandy Garner, Jean Andreasen, Jane Lee, Margaret Livingston, Pat Chism, Joyce Naramore, Charles Hilburn, Lou Lombardy, Fred Harbison, Lyman Lancaster, Dot Deslattes, and neighbors of Mayfair and Cedar Knoll.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alberta Baptist Church.
