NORTHPORT – Susan E. Guy, age 53, of Northport, Ala., gained her wings on February 5, 2017. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2017, in Memory Hill Gardens with Rev. Tony Boyd and Rev. David Willis officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Lois Norwood. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Timothy L. Guy; daughter, Amy C. Guy; son, Timothy L. Guy, Jr.; sister, Carol McIver; brothers, John Norwood, Steve Motry and Melvin Burr along with four other siblings; granddaughter, Sara A. Guy; and several nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to all. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
