Susan "Susie" Morris, age 67 of Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away on January 15, 2025 at UAB Palliative Care. A Graveside Celebration will be held on at 2:30 pm on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Memory Hill Gardens, with John Alexander officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Memory Chapel Funeral Home.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, James Gay Ward; mother, Sara Quarles Ward; husband, Douglas Wayne Morris.
She is survived by her daughters, Sara Anne Collins (Wood) and Julie Kate Morris; sister, Ronda Blohm (Grant); brother, Mike Ward (Dell); grandchildren, Thompson Anne Collins; nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews.
Susan was a mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose faith and inspiration will leave a lasting legacy for those who loved her.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Boswell, Bryan Ward, Drew Ward, Tripp Johnson, Web Walters and Andrew Davis.
