Sylvia Brazil

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Eunice Hale; her loving husband of 31 years, Brooks Brazil; and her brothers, Harvey, Jerry, and Scott Hale.

She is survived by her son, Scott Brazil (Jackie). She is also survived by her pride and joy, grandson Peyton (Mariah), and great-grandson Isaac, both of whom she loved dearly.

Serving as pallbearers will be Peyton Brazil, Danny Hale, Brian Hale, David Nevin, Jerry White, and Anthony Shuttlesworth.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be David and Lynda Nevin, Tonya Wedgeworth, Staff at Hospice of West Alabama, special nurse Shavera Archibald, special caregiver Denise Berns, TaRhonda Spencer, the members of Skyland Baptist Church, and the members of Five Mile Primitive Baptist church.

Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on July 8, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will follow at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on July 8, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am.

Committal services will follow at Memory Hill Gardens
