Tom was a wonderful friend and colleague. He consistently found ways to give support to students and faculty at the Capstone College of Nursing--and added humor and smiles that lifted everyone around him. We always knew that he would take some time off in March for the SEC Basketball Tournament. We are grateful to have known Tom!

We send our love and sympathy to Linda and to all the family at this sad time. May good memories be of comfort and continue to bring smiles through tears.

I remember Tom fondly. He was an excellent colleague, an outstanding student advocate, and a tireless supporter of The University of Alabama. He was a glass half full person and had a delightful sense of humor. He made our workplace a better place. He was a genuine human being and made a positive difference for all who knew him.
