Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Memory Hill Gardens with Rev. Dan Arsenault officiating.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Grady Casey; Mother, Iris Nell Blair Casey; Brother, Larry Edward Casey; Sister, Dorothy Helen Casey Baker.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 47 years, Brenda Jan Wyatt Casey of ralph, AL,; Daughter, Susan Casey May (Waller) of Tuscaloosa, AL,; His beloved grandsons, Thomas Waller May of Whitefish, MT., Samuel Weatherford May and John Lawson May of Tuscaloosa, AL. He is also survived by his sister in law, Pat Casey of Oneonta, AL,; his niece, Lori Annette Holmes (Jason) of Snead, AL.; His nephews, Brian Edwards Casey (Apryl) of allgood, AL and Kevin Scott Casey of Oneota, AL.
Jerry was born in Gadsden, Alabama, in 1939. He graduated from Gadsden High School and attended Jasonville State University while serving in the National Guard. Jerry worked for Wedlo for over 30 years where he last served as Vice president. He was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed bowhunting and fishing. After retiring Jerry served as a volunteer with the Ralph Volunteer Fire and Rescue and taught hunter safety classes at various locations. He enjoyed farming and gardening as well as spending time with family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Weatherford May, Ken Burns, Thomas Waller May, John Lawson May, Thomas Waller May, Brian Edward Casey, and Jason Wayne Holmes.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr Craig Buettner, Randy Burns, Jerry Lancaster, Sealy Park, Dr. Stuart Patton, and Sonny Taylor.
In Lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Ralph, Alabama Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
