Trannie "Tran" Lee Bigham Moore

NORTHPORT – Trannie (“Tran”) Lee Bigham Moore, age 82, passed away February 6, 2022 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Hartsfield officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to services at the funeral home.

Ms. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Moore; parents, Henry and Clementine Bigham; brothers, Grady Bigham, Verner Bigham, Lewis Bigham, Frank Bigham, and Sam Bigham; and sister, Gracie B. Garcia.

She is survived by his sisters, Ann B. Smith of Berry, Ala., Edna Rogers of Northport, Ala., and Frances Sanford of Northport, Ala.; brother, Edward Bigham of Northport, Ala.; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Tran was born in the Moore’s Bridge Community of North Tuscaloosa County and graduated from Montgomery High School in 1957. She worked as an administrative assistant for Dr. Joe Davis in Tuscaloosa for many years then at Shelton State Community College until her retirement. She was a lifelong resident of Tuscaloosa County and resided in Northport for most of her life. She adored her pets and always had a kind word for everyone.
