COTTONDALE – Vernon “Joe” Lecroy, age 85, passed away October 22, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Memory Hill Gardens with Pastor Robert Green officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Lecroy was preceded in death by his parents, Betty G. and Ottis Lecroy; sister, Ruth Harcrow; and grandson, Ethan Brunner.
He is survived by his wife, Myra Faye Lecroy; daughters, Linda Mott, Brenda Lecroy, Janet Hudson (Chad), and Brittany Gilliland (Jeremy); and grandchildren, Christian Brunner, Shannon Mott, Colton Lecroy, Megan Mott (Chris), Brandon Mott (Tiffanie), and William Terrell.
Honorary pallbearers are Larry “PeeWee” Barger, Bill Hyche, Michael Johnson, John T. Taylor, JB Hall, and Samuel Kory Brunner.
