
Ward R. Campbell, age 30, of Coker, died April 15, 2010, at home. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ward and Louise Mullenix, and Eula Campbell Wright; his uncles, Joe Mullenix and Harold Deese; aunt, Reba Deese; and special cousin, Tracy Mullenix.
Survivors include his parents, Judy and Mack Campbell of Tuscaloosa; brother, Joe Campbell (Charlotte) of Tuscaloosa; sister, Kay Vines (Jim) of Homewood; two nieces, Jessica Campbell of Tuscaloosa and Mary Brit Chambless (Jonathon) of Homewood; two nephews, Justice Campbell of Tuscaloosa and Robert Kyzer of Homewood; grandnephew, Brodie Chambless of Homewood; uncles, David Mullenix (Marguerite) of Baton Rouge, La., Ray Mullenix (Freddie) of Tuscaloosa, Loney Mullenix (Diane) of Tuscaloosa, Kim Mullenix (Virginia) of Tuscaloosa, Tony Mullenix (Faye) of Tuscaloosa, and Dale Mullenix (Cindy) of Tuscaloosa; aunt, Mary Mullenix of Tuscaloosa; and numerous cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jason Mullenix, Harlen Mullenix, Wesley Mullenix, Justin Mullenix, Dale Mullenix, Matthew Way, and Chad Chancey.
Honorary pallbearers are members of the Holten Heights Church of the Nazarene, employees and former employees of the Department of Rehabilitation Services, the Frazier Law Firm, Aramark – Fresh Food Ferguson Center, Tuscaloosa Police Department, Bob and Sheila Kelley, Margaret Brown, Thomas and Nellie Griffin, Roy Jones, Gary Haynes, Eric Sudduth, and friends and neighbors of the Lynn Haven Subdivision.
Memorials can be made to the Holten Heights Church of the Nazarene.
