William Oakley Bingham III, 60, passed away February 9, 2024 at Hospice of West Alabama. He was the son of William Oakley Bingham, Jr. and Marie Bingham. He is survived by his mother, Marie; brother, Robert Mason Bingham; aunt, Mrs. Peggy Bingham of Lafayette, La.; and cousins.
Oakley graduated from Tuscaloosa High School, received the B.A. degree in art history from Virginia Commonwealth University, and an Associate degree in nursing from Shelton State. A registered nurse, he was employed by the Mary Stark Harper Geriatric Center.
His ashes will be interred in the Bingham family plot at Carrollton, Miss. No formal funeral services will be held.
