Today is Chris's Birthday as you would know if you were here.  I wanted to thank you for being the most wonderful granddaddy in the world to him and most of all the most wonderful daddy to him!!!  I know he still loves you and will always love you as his daddy. Thank you, from your daughter for taking my son and making him yours as well. I will love you forever until I see you again. People keep telling me that it will get easier and easier as time goes by; however, it doesn't seem to get better. I see you in my daily life and hear the things you always said. Something always pop up that brings you back to me and I don't know how I'll ever get over missing you. I LOVE YOU SO SO MUCH and I look forward to seeing you again someday. Your only daughter

I still miss you more than you could imagine!!  I really thought that time would help: however, it doesn't.  I love you with all my heart and would give my life to see you and be with you again !!!! You were and are the best daddy that a person could have wanted!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, your only daughter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to say that I still have not gotten over losing the most important man in my life; my daddy. I remember all the trips to Gatlinburg and the beach and how much you loved to travel, especially when I was doing the driving. I know it's not my place to sign this book; however, I feel because I set the funeral so close to the death of my daddy, that more people and condolences would be sent, I feel I must say something.  Daddy I know that I have been your little and only girl.  We shared so much together such as fishing, horseback riding at granddaddy's, and the night you came home from work and wanted to take me to see the movie "Jeremiah Johnson". That was one of the most special times I spent with you.  I love you with all my heart and I know that one day I'll see you again.  Love, your daughter.
