Mark is preceded in death by his parents, William Crawford Townsend (1984) and Sarah Carolyn Payne Townsend (1990), and his in-laws, Raymond Lester Kellum (2007) and Jane Carr Kellum (2015).
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Townsend of Tuscaloosa, AL; sister, Cindy Crawford (Greg) of Cottondale, AL; brother, Phillip Ray Townsend (Lisa) of Moundville, AL; sisters-in-law, Mary Beth Elam (Mark) of Mount Pleasant, MS, and Diane Parker of Tupelo, MS; brother-in-law, Ray Kellum (Jo) of Signal Mountain, TN.
