William Franklin Whitehead Jr., age 60, of Mc Calla, Alabama passed away on Thursday July 18, 2019. Frankie was born September 12, 1958 to Brazzie Whitehead and William F. Whitehead. He always had a big heart, and was compassionate and kind. He was very respectful, and when he loved something or somebody it was with his all. One thing was for certain he loved his house, and when he left here to find peace that is where he was. He was in the same room that Jake was in -- as it was mean to be. He is at peace now -- as it should be.
William is survived by his wife, Donna M. Whitehead; sister Georgianne Bratton of McCalla, Alabama, sister Bobbie Carrol of Florida, sister Debbie Sue Lyke of Florida and brother Freddie Whitehead of Umatilla, Florida; grandchild Ace Whatley.
William was preceded in death by; son Matthew Whitehead and son Jake Whitehead; mother Brazzie Whitehead and father William F. Whitehead; brother J.C. Gwin of Cottondale, Florida; sister Bernice Allen and sister Betty Headrick of McCalla, Alabama.
A visitation for William will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service will occur Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd E, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405, with Rev. Danny Glover officiating. A cremation will occur.
