Willie Jean Eaton

VANCE – Willie Jean Eaton, age 72, of Vance, Ala., died July 20, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Clary officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Eaton.

Survivors include her sons, Terry Eaton (Amy), Mark Eaton (Pam) and Gerald Eaton (Debra); grandchildren, Taylor Eaton, Kyndal Eaton, Chris Eaton, Bailey Eaton, Natalie Eaton, Tyler Ponds and Megan Ponds; and three great-grandchildren.

Willie Jean was loved by many. She was a wonderful mother, wife, and grandmother. Her grandchildren were her world. She was a wonderful cook and always had something cooked when you came to visit. She was the glue that held her family together. She will surely be missed by her family and all who knew her.

Pallbearers will be Barry Nolen, Justin Terry, Kenny Boyd, Buddy Holder, Eddie Kornegay, Freddie Medders and Ken Terry.
