Willie Eugene Reece, age 65, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at DCH Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Willie is preceded in death by his mother, Annie E. Reece.
He is survived by his brother, Donald R. Reece; nephews, Raymond G. Reece and Kyle D. Reece.
Willie E. Reece AKA Gene or Boxcar Willie grew up in Rosedale CTS and Granda THS. He served in the U.S. Army 1979- 1982. After that he had a long career as a trucker and owner operator. He medically retired in August of 2017. Willie was a giving person and will be very missed.
