Yvonne Sartain Banks

Yvonne loved spending time with her family. She was an avid reader and an excellent cook. She loved fishing and gardening, and you could usually find her feeding the birds or a flock of hummingbirds. In recent years, she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her sisters on the numerous day trips they all made while being chauffeured by her brother-in-law Tommy Michalski.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Victor Banks; her parents, Webb & Ida Mae Channell Sartain; sister, Margie Woods; and brothers, Jerry Sartain and Ronnie Sartain.

She will be greatly missed by her surviving family including her loving sons, Kevin Enke, Kenneth Banks (Debra), John Michael Banks (Patty); sisters, Willa Dean Nelson, Barbara Ann Packard, Patricia Boyd, and Brenda Michalski; grandchildren, Denis Banks, Jason Banks, Cassey Synder; and great-grandchildren, Madison Banks, Zachary Banks, Hudson Synder, Banks Synder.

The Family wishes to recognize the staff of Heritage Health Care in Northport for their wonderful care and compassion shown to us all. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to a charity of your choice.

Yvonne will be laid to rest next to her husband in a private graveside service Thursday, August 15, 2024 directed by Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Delaney officiating with burial to follow.
