A Heart of Gold
A heart of gold stopped beating, two shiny eyes at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. God knows you had to leave us, but you didn’t go away alone, for part of us went with you, the day He took you home. To some you’ll be forgotten, and to others just a part of the past. But to us who loved and lost you, Your memory Mom, will always last.
One of God’s angels, Anne Marie Pessagno Munger returned home to be with our Heavenly Father on July 25, 2016. God blessed this world when Anne Marie was born on August 3, 1942 to Dr. Daniel James and Mrs. Mario Serio Pessagno of Baltimore, Maryland.
Anne Marie attended Mount Saint Agnes High School in Baltimore where she met Francis Xavier Munger, a United States Naval Academy graduate of 1960. They were married on June 23, 1960 and had five beautiful children. Anne Marie was born to be a mother because she was the epitome of beauty, grace, elegance, intelligence, patience, love, generosity, and devotion to all of her family. Anne Marie was the mother of 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Anne Marie enjoyed working for almost 14 years at the Bon Marche and Macy’s department stores in Twin Falls, Idaho. She also enjoyed her cats, reading about the Kennedys and Princess Diana, Elvis, loved dining out, riding her horses, dancing, and most of all she loved helping others. Anne Marie has touched the lives of so many people with her compassion and empathy toward others.
Anne Marie is preceded in death by her father, Dr. Daniel James Pessagno, her mother Marie Serio Pessagno, her brother James Paul Pessagno, and her sister Mary Colette Streb, all of Baltimore, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to any animal shelter of your choice in our mother’s name. Her cats gave her so much love and comfort.
