COLLEEN ROSE (CLAWSON) LAMP
May 1, 1937 to July 31, 2018
Colleen Rose (Clawson) Lamp, 81, peacefully passed away at home on July 31, 2018 surrounded by her devoted caregiver and son, Bud (Donnell).
Colleen was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on May 1, 1937 to Tom and Cleona Clawson and grew up in the Magic Valley. She attended schools in Twin Falls and had many dear friends and pets while growing up. Colleen had a caring heart for both humans and furry friends. She inspired many by her acts of kindness and generosity.
Her loyal confidant and protector, Brownie, was at her side during her early childhood. She was known for her great adventures with her childhood, continuing into adulthood, friends Sally and Della. Often times Brownie was right in the middle of their mischievousness and fun.
Family was the center of Colleen’s universe. If not caring for her parents and brother, Bob, she was mothering her seven children. She taught her children the differences between right and wrong and the importance of being good human beings. Game night was a beloved pastime where she enjoyed playing various card games, Yahtzee, and Dominoes. Other hobbies included camping, fishing, bowling, and dancing. She and her partner were known to clear the dance floor, so that others could observe and enjoy their skills. Her children have fond memories of listening to the music of many of her favorite artists, including Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and of course Elvis Presley.
Colleen is preceded in death by her parents and two granddaughters, Erin and Caley. She is survived by her brother, children Debra (Dave), Lona, Minnie, Lora, LaDona (Roy), Bud (Donnell), and Tom (Debie), 19 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 2.00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 2296 Kimberly Road, in Twin Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Colleen’s name to Twin Falls Animal Shelter, 420 Victory Ave. Twin Falls, ID 83301.

Sweet sweet Grandmother
We always have been close. As you made your Journey into heaven all the memories from my childhood and present days came to my thoughts.
No matter what you always let me help, being a helper in life was taught be you. As I grew older you always saw potential in me. I will forever show everybody what you had passed down to me and how to be kind.

I remember spending many hours with you and always being treated like one of your own. You may not have had a lot of material things, but you always had an open door, open arms and open heart. Mom always considered you her sister, and raised us that we were all family. Have fun playing cards with her and Pop once again. Love you!
