

Edith Jane “Edie” Patterson
Edith Jane “Edie” Patterson, 68, of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 with her family by her side.
She was born in Tacoma, Washington on January 13, 1945 to the late Burdell and William Moorhead and was raised in South Prairie, Washington. She married Gary Patterson in 1973.
Edith is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Laurray (Jim) Larsen; son, William Jay Patterson; four grandchildren, Joy (Jason) Black, Perry (Katie) Larsen, James Larsen and William Patterson; as well as six great grandchildren, Hayley, Jason, Mykenzie, AJ, Dominick and Danielle; her three siblings, Columbus “Red” (Joyce) Moorhead, Carol (Dick) Winterringer and twin sister, Evelyn (Kathy) Moorhead. She was preceded in death by six siblings, Lillian Patterson, Myron “Pete” Moorhead, Katherine Moorhead, Johnnie Moorhead, Harry Moorhead and Ron Moorhead.
Edith worked many jobs during her life, but her favorite was tending bar where she got to meet many new people, that she was happy to call friends. When she wasn’t working she loved to find great deals at yard sales and thrift stores.
A celebration of Edie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at White Mortuary, 136 4th Ave. East, Twin Falls with Pastor Gene Kissinger officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Trent Stimpson and staff at White Mortuary, Chapel by the Park, Twin Falls.
