Ruthe Mae Abel Andrews

Ruthe Mae Abel Andrews was born March 3, 1920 in Pryor Creek, Oklahoma to Elmer Roy Montgomery and Edna Florence Littrell. She married Lyle C. Abel on May 28, 1939 and celebrated their 50th anniversary on May 28, 1989 just shortly before Lyle’s passing on November 18 of that year. Ruthe and Lyle lived and farmed in Filer, Idaho where she loved growing and caring for flowers. She was an active member of the Filer First Baptist Church and was the charter member of the Mary Time Club, a neighborhood club in Filer. Ruthe married Everett Andrews on November 14, 2009. She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Kistler and Sandra Fischer, both of Twin Falls; four grandchildren, Kim, Krista, Karole, and Michael; and five great-grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, Kelsie, Kayden, and Ty. She is also survived by a sister, Louise and a brother, Earle. Ruthe was preceded in death by her husband Lyle, her parents and a brother, Hugh. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 11:00am at the Filer Cemetery with Pastor Andy Paz officiating. Services are under the direction of White Mortuary “Chapel by the Park”.

Dear Marilyn, Karole and Mike and families...I'm so sorry to learn of your loss. I always enjoyed seeing your Mother/Grandmother and having a good visit with her.
