

Eden - Thelma Mae Crawford Stone was born August 25, 1930 to Charles Edward Crawford and Ruby Ellen Lewis Crawford in Baxter County, Arkansas. She died January 26, 2017 at Minidoka Memorial Hospital in Rupert, Idaho. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers R.C., Edward and Delbert, Three sisters Mildred, Louise and Evelene and her loving husband of forty nine years Gene Stone.
Thelma was an avid gardener never failing to fill every canning bottle she could get her hands on. Many friends and family enjoyed her meals, fried chicken being her best and no one ever left her home hungry.
Thelma loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing at Magic Reservoir with two of her grandchildren, Vanesa and Chuck. Cutting wood and deer hunting in the South Hills was another of her favorite things.
On October 11, 1946 she married Claude Eugene (Gene) Stone in Mountain Home, Arkansas and for forty nine years they were never separated. They were best friends be it working, hunting, gardening, wood cutting, fishing, camping or just sitting on the porch watching the sunset, they were together until his death in 1995.
Gene and Thelma had four children, Betty (Leon) Bailey of Paul, Jay (Mary) Stone of Eden, Ellen (Joe) Martindale of Burley, Stanley Stone of Pocatello. She had 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 2 p.m. at White Mortuary “Chapel by the Park” in Twin Falls, viewing will be from 1 to 1:45 prior to the service. Burial will be in the Hazelton Cemetery,
