May God be with the family during this time of sorrow. Although your heart is aching just remember he’s in a better place and you shall meet again. He may be gone in flesh, but your memories will live on. May God Bless you all and give you the strength to carry on.

To the Johnson family, my condolences and my heart goes out to all of you! Smoke Johnson was a great leader throughout the time that we served together in Bamberg, Germany! I will never forget the standards that you instilled in me as a young Soldier... You was hard on me because you knew I could become a fine SRNCO like yourself! I really appreciate you for all you done and you most definitely be missed dearly!!

Drill Sergeant Johnson - I certainly am going to miss you. One of the nicest people I've ever met; even though he used to say I was a mean drill sergeant (Lol!!). My condolences to the Johnson Family. May the Lord give you all peace that surpasses all understanding. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
