“Sadie” as her friends knew her, was born in Athens TX on May 19, 1931.
She graduated from Tyler High School.
Married to Stuart Brookshire from Tyler TX. Later married to John Fred Johnson from Houston.
She is survived by her three sons; Daniel Brookshire Tucson AZ, Tony Brookshire (wife Kim) Whitehouse TX, Brett Brookshire (wife Penny) Tyler TX, 6 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
A private celebration of life will be held with inurnment to take place at Tyler Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
