Billy Carl Herren

Carl was a 1954 graduate of Tyler High and had and Associates degree in Electrical Engineering from TJC. He loved traveling all over the world. Carl was a member of Queen St. Baptist/Westwood Baptist and recently Green Acres Baptist. He worked at Howe Baker Engineering and Tyler Pipe for many years. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Carl is survived his loving wife of 63 years Sue Nulf Herren of Tyler, children, Carla Sue and Mike Staples of Tyler, David William Herren and Tracy Chou of Tyler, Kimberly Lynne Herren-Liles and Frank Liles of Tyler, as well at the lights of his life, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Verdis Herren and his sister, Patricia Ann Carter.

A time of visitation for Carl will be held Sunday, July 19, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. 12053 State Highway 64 W, Tyler, Texas 75704 followed by a celebration of life on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by David Dykes and Tom Crawford. Interment will take place after services at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery.
