Bobbie was raised in Tyler, Texas and graduated from Tyler High School. She married Walter H. Jernigan, and the couple had 2 children. She was a bookkeeper for more than 45 years. Bobbie was a member of Friendly Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W.H. Jernigan; brothers, Robert Wayne York and Joe Leonard York; and sister, Nelda York.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Smith and husband Steve of Whitehouse, Texas; son Kenny Jernigan and wife Tammy of Longview, Texas; brother Jimmy York and wife Brenda of Lufkin, Texas; grandchildren Kyle Smith and wife Debra, Lindsay Rhoades and husband Jeff, Kody Jernigan and Kensi Jernigan; great-grandchildren Kaden Casey, Madelyn Casey, Julianna Smith, and Marshall Smith.
A private graveside will be held for Bobbie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice in Bobbie’s name.
