Bonnie Sue Taylor

She grew up and attended school in Whitwell, Tennessee; graduating in 1950. Following school she got married and stayed in Whitwell. They moved to Tyler in 1952. She began working for Brookshires in 1953 and remained there and received many awards and recognitions until retirement. In retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and swimming.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Taylor on November 20, 2014 and is survived by her daughters, Debbie, and her husband, Dale Welch of Tyler; Pam and her husband, Gary Dagley of Winona; son, Jimmy and his wife, Rebecca Taylor of Flint; 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren as well as 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Highway 64 West, Tyler. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 14, 2016, also at the funeral home; with Pastor C. W. Goforth officiating. Interment will follow at Tyler Memorial Cemetery.
