C. A. (Tony) Gain

Tony was a very religious man and a practicing Catholic. He was an avid member at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception where he volunteered for everything and was an usher for many years. He made sure he was dressed in a suit for every Mass. Tony loved his family very much. He loved watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Tony is survived by children Robert Gain (Sandra), Richard Gain (Lan), Ron Gain and Lillian Gain-Foster (Chet); sisters Henrietta Manuel, Emma Tarkington and brother Bill Gain; grandchildren Joe, Sean, Justin, Jacob and Sarah, great grandchild Finnley and sweetheart and companion Martha Fertitta.

Tony was preceded in death by wife, Lydia Khoury Gain; parents and sisters, Sister Alphonsa Gain, Beth Johnsey and Bernice Bliss.

A visitation & rosary for Tony will be held Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral mass will occur Monday, February 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 423 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, Texas 75702 followed by a graveside service Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Tyler Memorial Cemetery, 12053 State Highway 64 W, Tyler, Texas 75704.
