Mom and I had a great life together. And she was a blessing to my husband and I. We loved the way she was always glad to hear one more story of what was going on in our lives. See you soon Mom. You have been a Blessing to many with God's help.  love Cindy

Carrie was more than a Mother in Law, she was more the Mother I never had. She was always funny, up beat, and very wise. And she was so ready to go home to be with our Lord and Savior. I will truly miss her.

How awesome is the peace I have in knowing you are FREE!! and finally with Jesus where you so longed to be. No more are you chained to your body, no more will you be told what you can eat, no more will you be bound to a bed. You are free! free to run, free to praise, free to worship, free to embrace your loved ones and friends in a place of undescribable beauty.
Thank you for living out before me the true model of perserverence through life's trials, you were a fighter and I thank you for fighting for me. Along with your example of devotion to God and family these things I rely on in my own life's journey. You taught us to enjoy the beauty of God's creation and be awed at the work of God's hand. Your smile would light up your face, and your eyes would sparkle with pure joy. Your love was unconditional and the lives of each one of your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren have been covered with many of your prayers. My heart is filled with celebration, knowing you are surrounded by family and friends in the presence of Jesus. She was an amazing woman that loved her children and grandchildren with all of her soul. I loved her spunk and lord knows she had enough for a hundred people. I know Uncle Glenn, Uncle Johnny, and her Jesus met her with open arms. Thank you to Tammy and Cindy for your devotion all of these years.  Dance in Heaven Grammie Sweet.

Very sad to hear that an Angel has been taken, but so proud to know the Lord gets to use her many talents in Heaven. As a child I was blessed to have her in my life, later as I grew I became aware of all of her reasons why we couldn't do this, or that. She smiled as she said no, and always reminded us that she loved us dearly. My father (her son John Chestnut) loved her with everything in his being. I know now, they are together with God and it is how it should be. Thought it doesn't always make sense, "He" is never late and as they reunite I would have loved to have seen her home coming and all of the smiling faces greeting her at the gates! I love you Grandma Sweet, look down on us and be proud that we carry on your legacy.
