August 17, 1947 – June 16, 2026
With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we celebrate the life of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, family member, and friend, Casiano Jesse Sanchez Bueno, who entered into the presence of our Lord at the age of 78.
He was a devoted man of God whose faith in Jesus Christ guided every aspect of his life. He lived his faith boldly and faithfully. He loved reading and studying God’s Word and faithfully lived out his beliefs through kindness, generosity, and love for others. He was the kind of man who would help anyone in need, always putting others before himself. His warm smile, wonderful sense of humor, and gentle spirit brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A proud veteran, he honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from April 1968 to April 1974. His service reflected the courage, dedication, and selflessness that characterized his entire life.
He was blessed with a loving wife, Florentina, whom he cherished deeply. Their love was a beautiful example of devotion, commitment, and partnership. Through every season of life, they stood by one another, and he loved her with all his heart. In his final years, she cared for him with extraordinary love, compassion, and unwavering dedication. She faithfully stood by his side, providing comfort, strength, and tender care all the way to the very end. Her selfless love was a true reflection of the vows they shared and the life they built together. His own words he left in writing that he wanted everyone to know, “I thank her for being the perfect wife and for being so beautiful and for taking care of me all of these years”.
He treasured his family. He loved spending time with those he loved, creating memories that will be cherished forever. He loved to laugh and his laugh was infectious. Whether gathering around the table playing games, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company, he found great joy in being surrounded by family.
He leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, kindness, and family. He is survived by His wife, Florentina Bueno of 32 years. His children, Casiano Jesse (Deanna), Rickey (Christie), Christina (Tony) and Lora. Two step children who he loved as his own, Boris and Magaly. 17 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. His siblings, Joe, Mary, Josie, Cecil, Janie, and Rosie along with many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. We will hold his memory in our hearts forever and thank God for the blessing of having him in our lives.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:23
