

Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Anthony Sisemore officiating.
Bernice was born February 22, 1934, in McRae, Arkansas, to the late Ralph and Ollie Mae Ballentine. She married Bill Bolton in Rose City, Arkansas, on Sept. 28, 1950. They moved to Katy where Bill worked for Exxon and they raised their family. Bill was transferred to Hawkins in 1970 and they resided in Tyler for the rest of their lives.
Bernice was a homemaker, a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She was a faithful member of The Woods Baptist Church and Friendship Sunday School Class. She was active in her community at The Hamptons at Greenridge and had many friends who she adored. She enjoyed traveling and often took her grandchildren on summer vacations when they were young. In recent years she had taken cruises and traveled to Europe, Alaska and Hawaii. She was a lifetime member of Weight Watchers.
Bernice is survived by her loving family: daughter, Connie Renick and Eddie, of Tyler; daughter, Debbie Osburn and Gary, of Tyler; son, Glenn Bolton and Tracie, of Ellsworth, Kansas; and daughter, Patti Boyd and Roy, of Tyler; grandchildren: granddaughter she raised, Raschelle Martin and Shawn, of Whitehouse, Matt Renick and Robyn, of Tyler, Melissa McTee, of Tyler, Chris Seelye and Blair, of Keller, Cody Bolton, of Lafayette, Louisiana, Tanner Bolton, of Ellsworth, Kansas, Amanda Loden and Andy, of Brownsboro, Jamie Tilley, of Austin, Brandon Ashley and Chelsea, of Tyler; great-grandchildren, Drew, Abby Grace and Tuff Loden, Lucas Talley, McKenzie, JT and Marshall Martin, Troy McTee, Hayden and Gracie Seelye, Reece Renick, Rylan Ashley, the Boyd and Osburn children, in addition to many nieces and nephews.
She was welcomed home by her loving husband, William C. "Bill" Bolton; her parents; her sisters, Estelle and Doris; brother, Wayne; and many more friends and loved ones.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.
