

Clarence Beatty, a devoted husband, father, skilled tradesman, and treasured friend to many. Clarence passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on August 8, 1946, in Louisiana. Clarence lived a vibrant life defined by hard work, heartfelt conversations, an unshakable love for those around him and devotion to his Savior Jesus Christ.
Clarence was a gifted electrician, HVAC specialist, mechanic, plumbing, builder, and everything in between who took immense pride in his trade. Everyone’s “handyman”. Together with his late wife, Margaret, they ran Eagle Creek Construction, a business that thrived on their shared dedication and partnership. Known for his approachable nature, Clarence loved chatting with clients and friends about his work, always leaving a lasting impression with his warmth and expertise.
The heart of Clarence’s world was his beloved wife Margaret, whom he cherished deeply. Her passing over three years ago, in November 17, 2021, was a profound loss, but he honored her memory with unwavering devotion until his final days. Their life together, both in love and business, was a testament to their extraordinary bond.
Clarence called home for many years in Tyler, Texas, a place he grew to love dearly for its people and the sense of community and southern hospitality he found there. He often spoke fondly of the friends he made and the connections he built in and around Tyler. In his downtime, Clarence found joy in both music and faith. He was a fixture at Gladewater Opry House and other live band performances always soaking in the energy of the crowd. He also had a deep appreciation for singers like Floyd Cramer, Eddie Arnold, Elvis and Patsy Cline. Clarence cherished quiet moments to by reading the Bible, finding strength and comfort in its words. Clarence’s signature look was his ball cap. He loved wearing ball caps, with his favorite being a bold red MAGA hat that he wore with pride and was always complimented on it everywhere he went.
Clarence was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Margaret, son Ralph, and son Bruce. He is survived by 2 sons, 1 daughter in-law, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren with 1 more on the way. His humor, laugh, humility, generosity, understanding of the bible and larger-than-life spirit will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
Rest in peace, Clarence. Your work is complete, your love endures, and your beloved Margaret, Ralph, Bruce and Savior are ready to welcome you, red MAGA hat and all.
