Connie was a lifelong resident of Troup. She married Robert Maldonado in 1973 and the couple had 3 children. She was a stay at home mother for many years and worked for Troup ISD for numerous years. In her spare time, Connie enjoyed working in her flower beds, sewing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her family will always remember her as a sweet & beautiful lady who was always honest and caring.
She is preceded in death by her parents Gertrudis and Ysidonia Gonzales and her sister Mary Reed.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert Maldonado of Troup, TX; son Robert Maldonado and wife Leigh Ann of Buda, TX; daughter Christy Stanly and husband Luke of Whitehouse, TX; son Eric Maldonado and wife Amanda of Fate, TX; grandchildren Nicolas, Kara, and Aracely Maldonado of Buda; Alyssa and Isaiah Stanly of Whitehouse; Noah, Gabriel, and Elijah Maldonado of Fate; great grandson Kai Johnson; and numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
The family would like to give a special Thank You to the staff of Heart to Heart Hospice for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2025 in the chapel of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.
