Donald Lewis Ford, age 74, of Tyler, passed away in the late evening hours of Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the Oakbrook Health Care Center in Whitehouse. He was born on December 16, 1937 in Liberty, Missouri and graduated from Roanoke-Benson High School in Roanoke, Illinois. Donald worked as a salesman for Schwan’s Food Company and was a member of the Baptist faith.
Don is survived by three children, Timothy Lewis Ford, Ricky Wayne Ford, and Kelly Ann Hinna, and by special friend, Ralena Garrett.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Heritage Baptist Church in Tyler with REv. Frank Battles and Rev. Wesley Veasey officiating.
Arrangements were handled under the direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.
