Funeral services for Doris Inez Loftis, age 83, of Tyler will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. James Cheatham officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park.
Mrs. Loftis was born on November 15, 1930 in Brownwood and passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014 in Tyler. She had lived in Tyler about 45 years and was a foster parent and a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include a daughter, Patsy Bonner, of Panhandle; son, Dustin Loftis, of Tyler; grandchildren, Kissy Stanley of Flint, Teresa Day of Amarillo, Alicia Bonner of Panhandle and Maks Loftis of Tyler; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; and son, Jimmy Joe Stone.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service.
Tyler Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
