Mrs. McFarland was born on August 6, 1922 in Kerr County to Robert and Myrta Lane Byrd and passed away on June 26, 2015 in Tyler. Formerly of Baytown, she had lived in Tyler since 1970, was homemaker, a member of Westwood Baptist Church and after retirement spent 20 years building churches.
Mrs. McFarland is survived by her husband, Harold McFarland of Tyler; grandchildren: Amanda Hale of Tyler, Shawn Bell of Frankston, Jessica Kenrick of Tyler and Grace Bell of Tyler; 5 great-grandchildren and nephew Ricky Byrd.
Mrs. McFarland was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Laurie McFarland Bell and 2 brothers.
Visitation will be 6-8PM Monday at the funeral home.
